Rookie Draft: (FFL89- 2015, 2022)
*. Winner of the Toilet Bowl will receive the #1 pick amd runner up will receive the #2 pick for the rookie draft. 2021 will be the final year for Draft Order Program. Draft order will be by previous years finish and will be a linear draft. Draft order 3-6 TBowl teams by previous year finish. TBowl 1-2, TBowl 3rd - 6th, TBowl winner 6th. Championship 7-12, 7-8 1st round losers in record order, 9-10 3rd & 4th place, 11th - 2nd place, 12th - Champions. 7-12 same as the NFL draft order seeding.
*. There will be 4 rounds and teams can draft up to 4 players. Trades could add more than 4 picks. Teams can pass on drafting a player and do not have to draft. Each team will receive 1 extension (3 minutes) to allow for trades. If a team wants an extension it must be called into the league on a number provided by the league. Def/ST can not be drafted.
*. Trading will begin March 1st, the new season year, before the NFL draft.
*. Draft will be held live or online and will be allowed 3 minutes per pick. After 3 minutes the pick will be skipped if no player is selected. Skipped teams may pick a player after their time but can not pick a player for that round when the round is complete.
*. Draft picks for the following season can be traded. Trades can not exceed past 1 year. If a trade is in progress on a teams pick it must be called into the league on a number provided by the league.
*. Veteran players can be traded for draft picks and will carry over their ADP's and be put into ADP order with their new team
*. Owner trades does not change the agreed picks by a leaving owner from the previous year. Trades will be honored.
*. All rookies not selected in the Rookie draft will be part of the regular season draft

Pre-Mini Camp: 2022 - No longer used. A Date for the Protect list will be used. The week before Mini Camp starts all teams must make roster waivers for all players over the 20 player limit. Players can be cut from the starting lineup, reserve, IR or practice squad(old taxi squad). Early Sunday of the start of mini camp teams over the 21 player limit will have IR or practice squad players cut by the league to get to the roster limit of 21. Teams will be notified by the league of any roster moves.
MINI CAMP - 2022 - No longer used. A Date for the Protect list will be used. This will run for 1 week in August on the dates set by the league. Camp must end at least 1 week before the Draft, to allow teams to prepare for the draft. When camp is over, protect and trade rules apply. See Protect List and Trade rules. Players on IR, practice squad (frozen rosters) must either be released or put on the active or reserve roster before the season's MINI CAMP begins. Players must be waived from the roster to get to the 20 player limit. If teams do not release, activate, reserve, practice squad and IR players, the league will release the player/s from the roster the day MINI CAMP begins to get the rosters to 21 players. Order will be lowest player on the draft board and work up until 21 players are rostered. The starting mini camp roster must always have a starting lineup included. The league will be notified of the moves made by email..
PROTECT LIST: Will be provided to the league from the previous year's roster and due on or before the date set by the league. Protected players will come from the roster,practice squad and IR list. Teams D/ST can be protected, they cannot be split. There is no limit on protections. Up to 7 players will be free then after will be an amount set by the league for each player over 7 ($5.00 per player). At no time can this protect list exceed 21 players. The roster/keeper page on CBS will be used. List will be posted on the next day by CBS. Protect list is due by 10:59 CST on a date set by the league. Each owner will set the protect list for their teams. Not the league. 2021 - 1 team drafted rookie will be allowed to be placed on the practice squad when the protect list is due and count towards the 7 player limit of free protect player of 7. To protect players on your roster, CBS site, Go to your roster, check (click on the box) the box for the player. When finished, towards the top of the page on the right side, is a "Set Lineup". Click on Set Lineup to save your protected players. If you do not click on Set Lineup your changes will not be saved. Rosters will be frozen after the 1 week mini camp and protect lists are complete. From CBS: What is the time of the keeper policy deadline? If your league's keeper policy leaves the selection(s) as the individual owner's responsibility, team owners will have until 11:59 PM ET (10:59 CT, 8:59 PT) on the designated date to select their keepers. Any player not designated as a keeper will be returned to the player pool between midnight and 6 AM ET the next morning. Rosters are frozen for 1 week (draft prep week) until draft day.
Draft in 2023 - Rookie draft - linear - Picks 1-4 will be determined by the regular season finish. lowest 4 teams. 5th pick TBowl loser, 6th pick TBall winner. 7-12 will be determined by when teams are eliminated, as in the NFL, and tie breaker will be used to determine order. Season draft - serpentine - Draft order will be determined by the Draft order program at the year end banquet. Order for the program will be worst to best record for the amount of lotto balls a team receives before the program begins. Lotto balls will be 12 to 1.
Draft Board Setup: A digital draft board will be used from PrimeTime Draft, The dimensions of the screen are approx. 72" wide 48" high and the stand 14" deep. This will be positioned in the best spot for all owners to view. A digital projector will be used for the draft board display. Depending on the location, a large screen TV can be used to display the board. Teams will be placed in draft order, 1 to 12. The secretary will be in charge of draft board maintenance and setup and bring to the draft ready to go

10th Rookie Draft
*. Rookies will be placed on the season draft board in the rounds 15-18 in ADP order. If more than 4 rookies, rounds 19 and 20 will be used and continue after 20, if needed, with the rookies. DynastyLeagueFootball.com - ADP and ADP's in May, June or July will be used The league will be notified with the final ADP date to be used for the rookie draft. This date will be two weeks before the rookie draft. The latest ADP's will be used.
*. In September the rookies will be placed with the final ADP's in order with the veteran players from DynastyLeagueFootball.com for the following years draft.
Allow drafted rookies (2020 - Rookie drafted players only, not season drafted) to be placed on the practice squad. Now, just PUP and suspended players allowed. After 1 year the players will become part of the roster and can be kept or released the following season. During the year there is a limit of 2 moves to and from practice squad and only 1 rookie is allowed on the PS - other than another rookie placed on PUP or suspension. Also roster moves will be charged for the rookie moves, except moves from PS to IR. Rookies picked up during the season draft or during the season are not eligible for the practice squad, only rookies that your team drafted. If a drafted rookie is waived at anytime after the rookie draft and during the season, he is a free agent and is not eligible for the practice squad. even if you drafted the player. Once the rookie has made the 2nd move, he must remain on the active roster or waived. Amended rule change in 2021 season: (2021 season rule) - One team drafted rookie can be put on the practice squad by the date set by the league for the teams protect list, which is after the cut to 20 player roster. The rookie put on the practice squad will then open that round in the season draft. Rounds 15-18/19 depending on how many rookies are drafted by a team. Once on the practice squad you are allowed 1 more move to activate the player, after he must remain activated or waived. The rookie will count towards the 7 player limit - free keepers and 5.00 for each player over the free limit. Rookies placed on IR and placed on the IR list and don't count against the practice squad move. The rookie on the practice squad who is then injured and placed on the NFL teams IR list can be moved to league's IR list but once the NFL team activates the player, the 1 week rule is in effect. Activate or release the rookie player. If not activated or released in 1 week, the league will release the rookie and notify the team. If the rookie has been on the PS then moved to IR, they can't be put back on the practice squad. FFL team's may choose to keep the rookies on the practice squad even if NFL team puts him on IR.
NOTE: teams will be allowed, up to 45 seconds, after the 3 minute time limit due to the delay on the internet.
DRAFT: (2023) The second roster cut comes following Week 2 of the preseason, teams have until 4 p.m. ET to cut their roster down from 85 players to 80 players. If players are placed on the PUP list they maybe placed on the FFL89 PUP list before the season draft. This would then free up the draft slot for the team in the season draft. A draft will be held to complete the rosters on a date set by the league. The draft will be scheduled as close as possible to the Sunday before Labor Day weekend. The order will determined by the previous regular season's finish. Rounds 1 will be reverse order of regular season finish (last to first) and will snake for rounds 2 through 20. Each even round will be the reverse of the previous round. Championship teams will be seeded as to when they are eliminated in the playoffs. When teams are eliminated they will be seeded at that time by regular season records. Round 2 playoffs will be seeded next by record. Winner of 3rd place will be the 10th pick and loser will be the 9th pick. Championship Game winner will be the 12th and loser will be the 11th. The Toilet Bowl teams will be seeded 1 through 6 by season's record. Worst to best and tie breakers will be used. A time limit for each pick will be, 3 minutes and teams will get 3 extensions to aid in trading during the draft. We will continue until rosters are filled to the league limits. A complete starting lineup must be drafted and the rest filled by team needs. Rosters cannot exceed the league limits on draft day and a player cannot be picked unless an NFL team has rights to that player or a NFL free agent. No college players can be drafted. Player/s can be traded for draft pick/s. Whole defenses and special teams will be drafted. They cannot be split when selecting. A defense and special team will count as 1 player on a roster. Owners will select their pick and then the pick will be announced and posted on the digital draft board by the PrimeTime Draft program. The draft will also be online for owners who can not attend the draft to be apart of the draft. If an owner is unable to attend or be online, he will be allowed to select players after the draft to complete his roster. This list must be sent to the secretary before pickup night begins. No players can be waived. If not before pickup night, pickup night rules will be followed and the owner must submit his picks on the league site. A list can be given to another owner, as the last option. Other options are available for draft day, to make your selections for you but, with no guarantee's. League fees are to be paid at the draft. Owners will divide cost of food and drinks at the draft. 2015 - New player order for the draft Final roster players are listed in order as of September, 2016 ADP's(ex. 2016 final rosters / September 2016 ADP's) from DynastyLeagueFootball.com. Cut list will be due 1 week earlier than in the past to get draft board ready to select Keeper's. Players on IR or Practice Squad if kept will be put in ADP order. Players with a 0.00 ADP will be put in order by NFL points scored the previous season. If a point tie, they will be placed in position order. QB,RB,WR,TE,K,D/ST. Players not protected will open that round in the following August draft. No longer will protected players be all moved to the top of the teams draft. Traded players, prior to the draft, will keep their ADP's and be slotted on the draft board in the ADP order with the new teams. 2019, all owners will be marked as online drafting, whether online or live. The only one that will not be marked will be the main draft board. This controls the entire draft output. Each owner will select their own players when their time to select is running. So, at the live draft bring your computer, ipad or cell phone. They will all work. Village Pub has WIFI.
