Is there a way to automatically select players for an owner that can't attend the draft? Yes, by using the PrimeTime Draft Autopicks feature. If an owner can't attend the draft and would like their team chosen automatically, there are 2 options:
PrimeTime Draft Autopicks service: Team owners can use the PrimeTime Draft Autopicks service to make a list of their selections that can be downloaded and sent to the draft administrator. This selection list can be imported on the "Team Properties" dialog prior to starting the draft.
Provide a list of selections for each round: Team owners can create and send their own list of "Best Available" or "Best Position" (e.g., "Best QB", "Best RB", etc.) selections to the draft administrator. Prior to officially starting the draft, the draft administrator would click the "Start Draft!" button and manually configure each slot of the absent team. To configure a slot, press and hold the left mouse button (also known as a "long press" ) while the cursor is on an empty slot. This will invoke the "Owner Properties" dialog where you can set an Autopick selection. When all slots are configured, you are ready to start the official draft. To reset the initial clock, click the "Back" button to return to the Settings screen and then click the "Continue draft!" button.
Whenever the clock lands on a slot configured for Autopick, PrimeTime Draft will "pre-select" a player based on the Autopick setting and the player list ranks. You can either accept that player or choose a different one (for example, the pre-selected player may be known to have a significant injury and you may determine an alternate player would be more appropriate).
Note: The options are by a position only. This is not used if you would rather draft by a player list. The player list must be sent to the league. By far, the best options are to be at the draft or online.
