Prospects Comments
NFL - Every-down running back with the ability to alter the course of an offense and become a face of the franchise-type player. Barkley has the rare ability to create additional yardage through elusiveness, speed, vision and feel for space in the open field. While he has been tasked with carrying a heavy load at Penn State, their decision to limit his carries somewhat this season could help Barkley headed into his rookie season. Barkley is a buffet runner who thrives with the more plates you give him and he has a chance to become an early All-Pro no matter which team takes him.

DLF - Barkley will be a top ten pick in the NFL draft. He should be the unquestioned top pick in your rookie drafts regardless of his landing spot, and I would assume he would end up being a late first to early second round pick in most startup drafts. I see Barkley as a cross between Christian McCaffrey and Ezekiel Elliott, which should allow him to be a perennial top ten back in PPR leagues, and a potential MVP candidate in the NFL. DLF u[date   ROOKIE DRAFT ADVICE  This is the easiest 1.01 pick of my dynasty career. Don’t get cute, don’t trade out, just make the pick. If you aren’t a fan of Barkley, check yourself into the hospital. When you are done getting the professional help you need, draft him and hold on for at least a few months. His value is only going to climb between now and next off-season.

CBS - Rare flexion and smoothness as an athlete, particularly for a running back his size. Some cuts are remiscient of Barry Sanders. Has elite downfield speed to hit home runs. Best on the outside though he's not terrible between the tackles. Has plenty of power too. Dynamic running back prospect.
