League Voting - Schedules ....

LEAGUE VOTING: Each team will have one vote per team on league rulings. Each owner will have a vote on certain items and are noted in that part of the rules. (i.e. each owner votes on league awards).A simple majority of votes will decide the rule or issue. Simple majority is, the owner votes and owners present at a meeting. Voting can be in person or on the FFL89.com site. No rule changes are allowed once the season begins. Rule changes can be proposed after the season end meeting (banquet) and the first pick of the rookie draft. When a rule is proposed, it will be sent to the league for a vote and have a 2 week timeline to either pass or fail the rule, If there is not the required 7 votes, after 2 weeks the rule will be considered a failed rule. (2019)

SCHEDULES: Schedules will have each team play their division twice and other division teams once. Schedule will be set by CBS Sportsline. Schedules will be adjusted by the league. Week 14 will be the Wild Card week, which is the 5th-6th best non-division winners, and the two lower seeds of the division winners. The top 2 division winners get a bye in week 14. Week 15 will be the top 2 division winners against the winners of the week 14 games. Weeks 14-15 teams will be seeded as in the NFL. Week 16 will be the league Championship. The 2 winners will play and the 2 wk 15 losers will play for 3rd place. The bottom 6 teams will play for the Toilet Bowl with the same set up as stated above. TB has only a TB championship game. PICKUPS are allowed week 15 - 17. Week 17 all teams will submit a lineup and the highest scoring team will win a weekly high. After, all teams will be in the Super Bowl. SCHEDULE: 4 division games (2 each), 10 games vs the league.

If the NFL goes to a 17 game (18 weeks) schedule, the FFL regular season will end with week 14 The extra game scheduled will be based on the previous years finish at the end of the previous year's regular season. 1st will play 1st; 2nd will play 2nd, 3rd will play 3rd Schedule will rotate on a three year rotation by divisions. Weeks 15-17 will be playoffs and week 18 will be the weekly high 1 winner. Rule above will change as to weeks.

Mistake Rule: (FFL89 - 2017)

It means a mistake is a mistake on the owners part and can not be corrected by the league. So, when making changes be careful as once it's done the league can not go back.

Rookie Draft: (FFL89- 2015, 2022)

*. Winner of the Toilet Bowl will receive the #1 pick amd runner up will receive the #2 pick for the rookie draft. Draft order will be by previous years finish and will be a linear draft. Draft order 4-6 TBowl teams by previous year finish. TBowl 1-2, TBowl loser - 2nd, TBowl winner 1st. Championship 7-12, 7-8 1st round losers in record order, 9-10 3rd & 4th place, 11th - 2nd place, 12th - Champions. 7-12 same as the NFL draft order seeding.

*. There will be 4 rounds and teams can draft up to 4 players. Trades could add more than 4 picks. Teams can pass on drafting a player and do not have to draft. Each team will receive 1 extension (3 minutes) to allow for trades. If a team wants an extension it must be called into the league on a number provided by the league. Def/ST can not be drafted

*. Trading will begin March 1st, the new season year, before the draft

*. Draft will be held live or online and will be allowed 3 minutes per pick. After 3 minutes the pick will be skipped if no player is selected. Skipped teams may pick a player after their time but can not pick a player for that round when the round is complete.

*. Draft picks for the following season can be traded. Trades can not exceed past 1 year. If a trade is in progress on a teams pick it must be called into the league on a number provided by the league.

*. Veteran players can be traded for draft picks and will carry over their ADP's and be put into ADP order with their new team

*. Owner trades does not change the agreed picks by a leaving owner from the previous year. Trades will be honored.

*. All rookies not selected in the Rookie draft will be part of the regular season draft

*. Rookies drafted do not have to be protected by the drafting team

*. Rookies will be placed on the season draft board in the rounds 15-18 in ADP order. If more than 4 rookies, rounds 19 and 20 will be used and continue after 20, if needed, with the rookies. DynastyLeagueFootball.com - ADP and ADP's in May, June or July will be used The league will be notified with the final ADP date to be used for the rookie draft. This date will be before the rookie draft. The latest ADP's will be used.

*. In September the rookies will be placed with the final ADP's in order with the veteran players from DynastyLeagueFootball.com for the following years draft.

Allow drafted rookies (2020 - One rookie drafted player only (not season drafted) can be placed on the practice squad. Now, just PUP and suspended players allowed. After 1 year the players will become part of the roster and can be kept or released the following season. During the year there is a limit of 2 moves to and from practice squad and only 1 rookie is allowed on the PS - other than another rookie placed on PUP or suspension. Also roster moves will be charged for the rookie moves, except moves from PS to IR. Rookies picked up during the season draft or during the season are not eligible for the practice squad, only rookies that your team drafted in the rookie draft. If a drafted rookie is waived at anytime after the rookie draft and during the season, he is a free agent and is not eligible for the practice squad. even if you drafted the player. Once the rookie has made the 2nd move, he must remain on the active roster or waived. Amended rule change in 2021 season: (2021 season rule) - One team drafted rookie can be put on the practice squad by the date set by the league for the teams protect list. The rookie put on the practice squad will then open that round in the season draft. Rounds 15-18/19 depending on how many rookies are drafted by a team. Once on the practice squad you are allowed 1 more move to activate the player, after he must remain activated or waived. The rookie will count towards the 7 player limit - free keepers and 5.00 for each player over the free limit. Rookies placed on IR and placed on the IR list and don't count against the practice squad move. The rookie on the practice squad who is then injured and placed on the NFL teams IR list can be moved to league's IR list but once the NFL team activates the player, the 1 week rule is in effect. Activate or release the rookie player. If not activated or released in 1 week, the league will release the rookie and notify the team. If the rookie has been on the PS then moved to IR, they can't be put back on the practice squad. FFL team's may choose to keep the rookies on the practice squad even if NFL team puts him on IR.

NOTE: teams will be allowed, up to 45 seconds, after the 3 minute time limit due to the delay on the internet.

Draft in 2024 - Rookie draft - linear - Picks 3-6 will be determined by the regular season finish. lowest 4 teams. 2nd pick TBowl loser, 1st pick TBowl winner. Picks 3-6 will be determined by the Toilet Bowl losing teams and be put in season order finish. Worst to best of the four losing teams The 2nd pick will be Toilet Bowl loser and 1st pick will be the TB winner. Team order for 7 - 12 will be determined by the elimination order just like the NFL. Playoff tie breakers will be used to break ties. Season draft - serpentine - Draft order will be determined by the Draft order program at the year end banquet. Order for the program will be worst to best record for the amount of lotto balls a team receives before the program begins. Lotto balls will be 12 to 1.
