Rod Bernstine Rule - (players position): If a player is drafted/picked up at a position and during the year it's proven to the league that his position has changed, that player will remain at the selected position until he is traded, waived or picked up. Then he will be used at his new position. Any player in question will be ruled on before the draft and then after this rule applies. Players in question on or after the draft will be ruled on by the secretary. If there is a disagreement, then it will be given to the rules committee. CBSsports change for 2020. Is there additional position eligibility for football commissioner?  One of our newest features allows commissioners the option to set the player pool to allow for dual eligibility when in-season roles expand or update.  All players will start the season with only one eligible position, despite whichever option has been selected.  Additional player eligibility will be determined by our CBSSports.com Fantasy Team, relieving league commissioners from having to make those decisions for players that may be on their own rosters. To allow for these settings, select Player Pool & Policies - available as a link under the Rosters, Transactions, & Player Policies portion of the Commissioner Tools page. If a player postion is proven before the regular season draft, the league will decide position and notify the team. After the season begins, player position will be determined by CBS and / or NFL team roster sites. The position listing will still be under CBS's control for the remainder of the season.
At the top, find Player Eligibility Policy, below Keeper Policy, to choose one of two settings:
"    Players are eligible at multiple positions as determined by CBSSports.com    <------- starts 2020 season
"    Players are eligible only at their primary position as determined by CBSSports.com
Only when the changes have happened during the season will additional position options be available - if the option has been selected and saved.

ROSTERS and LINEUPS: Roster size will be 20 players active. Players will be obtained thru the protect list, draft, pickups and trades. Rosters cannot exceed 20, but can be under 20. A starting lineup will be: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 Flex, 1PK, 1DEF and 1ST. Flex player will be RB, WR or TE and will count in the final score. If a tie, the tie will remain with no tie breaker (regular season only).  A defense and special team will count as 1 player on a roster. If you have 2 D/ST on your roster, you can start either one. Rosters are frozen from seasons end until league is archived in February. The new league season will begin March 1st, When the mini-camp is over rosters are again frozen until the draft. Lineups must be set 5 minutes before the game that player is playing. Any later it will not count and the previous week's lineup or players involved will be used. NO EXCUSES! The site will lock you out. Illegal rosters(rosters over 20 player limit)/lineups score zero points. Rosters are frozen at the end of week 17, regular season. After week 17 the site will be changed to: Owners may not do add/drops.  After week 10 the site will be changed to: Trades are not allowed. Owners input rosters/changes on CBSsports.com. For the playoffs 1 flex player will be used. This player will count in the final score unless there is a tie. The flex player points will be the tie breaker #1. The flex player can a RB, WR or TE.  If there is still a tie then the second tie breaker is the higher seeded team will advance to the next round. Regular season, flex will be used and a tie will remain a tie.  (Flex player - 2015)
If any NFL games are postponed & made up at a future date, which scoring period would that game count towards? If a game is postponed, fantasy stats will accumulate for the week in which the game is rescheduled. Stats will not be retroactively applied to the game's original scoring period. For example, if a Week 4 game is postponed until Week 7, the accrued points for that matchup would be counted for Week 7, not Week 4.
If a game is postponed due to COVID-19, will all players receive an IR designation? No. A player will only receive an IR designation if they are placed on the IR by the NFL.
If games are postponed, when will they be made up? If the NFL postpones any games, the rescheduling of those games is at the NFL's discretion

EARLY GAMES: When we have early games, players playing in the early games must be set in your lineup no later than the start of the early game. The rest of your lineup must be set no later than the start of the Saturday, Sunday and Mondays games.

RULE PROTEST: If a team feels a rule has been broken, they will file a protest describing the ruling in question. The protest will then go to the rules committee to decide the outcome. There are three rules owners and also the Commissioner to break a tie vote. If a protest involves a rules committee owner they can not vote on the protest, the other two will decide and if a tie vote it will go to the commissioner. The commissioner can not vote if his team is involved in the protest. If a rule protest ends in a tie vote because of owners being exempt from voting,.the protest will be denied and a warning will be sent to the owner/s involved in the protest. At no time can a vote be sent to all owners for a vote. Rules Committee and Commissioner can only be involved in the protest. If a rule needs to be adjusted, it can not be re-written in season. The rule must be passed at the banquet or before the rookie draft in July begins.

POINT PROTEST: They will be called (emailed) to the secretary to correct any errors. If it cannot be resolved it will go to the rules committee. Points will be calculated by CBS (per our league scoring rules) and sent to the owners. Errors should be called in no later than Thursday. After no changes will be made without league approval.
