March 1st- The FFL89 34th season has begun. Trades and waivers have started. As of March 8, we have a new team owner, Leslie Lucente. The new team will be called Nooners as of 3-19-2022. The NFL draft is completed and all teams are now preparing to sign their rookies and fill out their rosters for their mini-camps and the start of training camps. FFL89 teams will be preparing for our rookie draft on July 31. FFL89 rookie draft is now complete. We had a few teams who had problems but nothing major. One, LR said he had technical problems. He doesn't know that I talked to his dad. Took a nap and had to skip 2 of his 5 picks. Now the league is ready to watch the start of preseason games, protect list and prepare for the 34th season draft. During the rookie draft it seems the new team, Nooners, has continued Waterford Whinnies rostering Packers. Round 1 pick, Christian Watson. Round 2 pick, Romeo Doubs. This brings the total to 5 rostered and the Packers Defense/Special Teams. Can't wait to get to the protect list and 34th season draft and then start the new NFL season. The protect lists are completed. CBS and FFL89 are all updated and ready for the season draft in 5 days. On the September 6th will be the first add / drop night and then Thursday starts the 2022 season. This year 2 teams protected 21 players and all teams put a drafted rookie on their practice squads. Once again this year marked a new high for keepers and there will be 54 players drafted to fill the rosters to 20. We are now in the final week, 14, of the regular season. The East, Nooners. West, Warthogs and the North, JP Neil. The three teams have clinched their divisions. The final two wild cards spots and the number 1 seed in the Toilet Bowl will be decided in week 14. The South will also be decided. The Toilet Bowl teams as of know are McGibblets, Young Guns, Lucente's Rule, Strange Brew and Fixer Upper. The regular season flew by but, we still have the playoffs and Super Bowl to go. The 2 wild card teams are Shamrocks and Texan with LA Warlords winning the division. The #1 seed for the Toilet Bowl will be the Lynx. This all starts with the Thursday night game, 49ers @ Seahawks.The Championships has ended but not with some severe problems, Damar Hamlin. He finally left Cincinnati hospital and returned to Buffalo. Still hoping and praying for him to continue to improve. So, now #2, Warthogs finished as the Champions as week 18 scoring was also used for week 17 players in the Cincinnati - Buffalo game. 2nd place - JP Neil, 3rd - LA Warlords and 4th - Shamrocks. The Toilet Bowl winner was Lynx over Young Guns. MyFantasyLeague.com will again be hosting our Super Bowl and will start Saturday, January 14th. In February, Super Bowl LVII will end the 34th season and our 33rd Super Bowl. OOTY - JP Neil, ROY - Christian Watson - Nooners and MVP Jalen Hurts - JP Neil. FFL89 Super Bowl XXXIII is now waiting for the SUper Bowl LVII. In week 21, Fixer Upper had a illegal lineup and was penalized the 67 points scored in that week. We have had to do this before about 4 or 5 times and its always something we don't want to do but it is a rule. Super Bowl Sunday will be February 12th @ 5:30pm. Teams will be ready and so will our league. Super Bowl is over. Chiefs 38 Eagles 35. FFL89 SBowl finish 1st Lynx, 2nd - Shamrocks and 3rd - McGibblets. Our final event will be Sunday 2-19 @ 2pm CST. Online year end meeting. The 2022 season is now over with the Zoom year end meeting. Two rules were slightly changed that involved the PUP and practice squad lists and the payout for the Super Bowl Champion was raised to 150.00 from 110.00. Meeting went real well and now we begin to plan for the start of 2023 which March 1st will start our 35th season. Seasons seem to go by faster and faster as our age goes up.

March 1st is here and the 35th season has begun. On the 2nd we had the 1st trade of the year. Texan sends Lucentes Rule, Keenan Allen and Lucentes Rule the rookie draft round 1 pick number 2 to the Texan. It's also combine time in Indianapolis. Things are moving quick already. The Rookie draft is here, July 30th @ 12pm online. Maybe one day we will get together again for a draft party. Most picks for the draft are: Fixer Upper - 7, Strange Brew - 6, LA Warlords and Texan - 5, the other 6 - 3 to 4 and McGibblets, Lucentes Rule - 2. Results will be posted later in the day Sunday. the 9th rookie draft is over in about 1hr and 25min. It went as smooth as possible. As of August 1st, all CBS and FFL89 site updates are complete.Teams will now spend their time with pre-srason games and decide players to cut and if they want to move 1 drafted rookie to the practice squad. Our 35th season draft is set for August 31st online. NFL season is set to begin, September 7th. Protect lists have been completed and we were 1 player from tying the record for most protected and 7+ players kept. Now moves can be made to move players to IR and PS. The moves will free up the player slots for the draft Thursday. Season's first pickup is over and week one is complete. Aaron Rodgers is done for the season with a torn achilles.Seasom went really well but also super fast. The Championship and Toilet Bowls are over. Championship - 1st - Warthogs 2nd - JP Neil 3rd - LA Warlords and 4th - Lynx. Toilet Bowl was won for the 1st time By Texan who defeated Lucentes Rule. Now the league is preparing for our 24th Super Bowl which again will be hosted by My Fantasy League. Awards were OOTY - Lynx, Shamrocks and Warthogs. ROY - CJ Stroud. MVP - Christian McCaffrey. Division winners were: N - JP Neil, S - Shamrocks, E - Lynx and W - Warthogs. Wild Cards were LA Warlords and McGibblets. Week 18 weekly high was won by LA Warlords with 128 points. Now we start the FFL89 Super Bowl. Week19 will be ending this Monday with 2 games. Philadelphia @ Tampa Bay and earlier (330pm) Pittsburgh @ Buffalo which was moved from 12pm Sunday to Monday afternoon. Buffalo got beat up again with a winter snow storm. NFl and FFL89 Super Bowls are now over. Chiefs defeated the 49ers and the top 3 in the FFL89 were Fixer Upper, 2nd - Strange Brew and 3rd - Young Guns. Sunday, February 18th, will be the seasons final meeting and March 1 will be the start of the 36th season, when trades and waivers will again be allowed. Pickups are still not allowed.
2024
March 1st has started the season for 2024. Eleven days into the season the only activity has been Texan's who have waived 5 players. PrimeTime software should be coming soon and CBS will start the new season in early May.
